KAUFMANN® Pure Acrylic Exterior Paint – Application Areas (Exterior)

KAUFMANN® Pure Acrylic Exterior Paint can be safely used on various building materials such as fully cured concrete surfaces, cement-based plasters, brick, raw concrete, aerated concrete, blocks, fiber cement (eternit), and chipboard (betopan). It also performs well on solid, well-adhered previously painted exterior surfaces. It is suitable for a wide range of exterior applications, including thermal insulation systems (EIFS) and many other facade projects.

KAUFMANN® Pure Acrylic Exterior Paint – Application

Surface Preparation
The surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, solid, and capable of supporting the paint. Any dirt, dust, oil, or loose and blistered layers must be completely removed. For newly plastered surfaces, allow at least 28 days for curing before application. If necessary, repair any surface defects to achieve a smooth and even base.

Primer Application
Prepared surfaces should be primed with a suitable primer (Kaufmann Primer or a pure acrylic-based primer). After applying the primer, allow 12–24 hours of drying time depending on environmental conditions.

Paint Application
KAUFMANN® Pure Acrylic Exterior Paint should be diluted with 10–15% clean water and applied in at least 2 coats. Allow 6–8 hours between coats depending on ambient temperature. After priming, it is recommended to wait 12–24 hours before applying the first coat of paint.

Application Conditions
During application, the ambient and surface temperature should be between +5 °C and +35 °C. Avoid applying on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight; it is preferable to paint in shaded areas.
