KAUFMANN® Plastic Interior Paint – Application Areas
KAUFMANN® Plastic Interior Paint can be safely used on new or previously painted or plastered ceilings and walls. It is suitable for various surfaces, including plaster, puttyed surfaces, drywall, chipboard (betopan), OSB, and glass fabric. Proper priming should be applied before painting.
KAUFMANN® Plastic Interior Paint – Application
Surfaces to be painted must be smooth, solid, and capable of supporting both primer and topcoat. All dirt, dust, form oil, and loose layers should be completely removed, and any necessary surface repairs or corrections should be made. For concrete, raw concrete, and newly plastered surfaces, allow a curing period of 28 days. On previously painted water- or solvent-based surfaces, lightly sand the surface before applying primer.
For newly plastered surfaces, apply a suitable Primer. On very dirty surfaces, it is recommended to apply a coat of stain-blocking paint to improve coverage. During application and until the paint is fully cured, the ambient and surface temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C.
