- Profile Installation: First, galvanized steel profiles (C and U profiles) for the wall or ceiling framework are installed according to specified axis intervals (typically 60 cm). Ensure the profile system is straight and level.
- Board Cutting: Gypsum boards can be easily cut by scoring with a sharp utility knife and a straightedge. Score the board from one side, then snap it along the scored line and cut the paper on the other side.
- Board Mounting: The cut gypsum boards are fastened to the profiles with drywall screws at intervals of approximately 20-25 cm. Ensure that the screws sit flush with the board surface but do not tear the paper facing. It is recommended to leave a 3-5 mm expansion gap between boards.
- Joint Filling Application: After the boards are mounted, joint tape (fiberglass mesh or paper tape) is applied to the board joints.
