Kalekim Tamirart S40 Ready Repair Mortar 25 Kg
High-strength, fiber-reinforced structural concrete repair mortar
Kalekim Tamirart S40 Ready Repair Mortar is a cement-based, polymer-modified, and fiber-reinforced, high-performance ready repair mortar specially developed for the repair of structural and non-structural concrete elements in the construction industry. This product significantly exceeds the requirements for R4 class structural repair products according to TS EN 1504-3 standard, setting itself apart from competitors with its resistance to harsh conditions and long-lasting solutions.
Unlike ordinary repair mortars, Tamirart S40 minimizes crack formation thanks to its special fibers, while increasing the resistance of reinforced concrete structures against earthquakes and other dynamic loads. Its high compressive strength, excellent adhesion performance, and low shrinkage property ensure it forms a permanent and strong bond on the applied surface. With its superior resistance to freeze-thaw cycles, sulfate attacks, and water absorption, it can be safely used in both interior and exterior environments. Its easy workability and rapid hardening properties save time and labor. Kalekim Tamirart S40 is reliably preferred in critical applications such as bridges, viaducts, industrial floors, precast concrete elements, and general reinforced concrete repairs, offering both durability and aesthetics in your projects. This competitive product is an economical and reliable investment that reduces long-term maintenance costs while extending the lifespan of your structures.

- Repair of structural and non-structural concrete elements (columns, beams, slabs, walls, etc.).
- Repair and strengthening of corroded or damaged reinforced concrete elements.
- Filling holes, voids, and cracks in concrete surfaces, and surface leveling.
- Repair of worn or damaged concrete floors in industrial facilities, warehouses, and car parks.
- In the repair and assembly of precast concrete elements (panels, pipes, culverts, etc.).
- Maintenance and repair of engineering structures such as bridges, viaducts, and tunnels.
- Preparation of concrete surfaces in water structures (pools, water tanks, etc.) before repair.
- Protection and passivation of reinforced concrete structures against rebar corrosion.
- All concrete repair applications requiring high strength and adhesion.
- Surface Preparation: The concrete surface to be applied must be free from all adhesion-preventing substances such as oil, dirt, dust, rust, loose particles, and old coatings. If necessary, the surface should be roughened by sandblasting, high-pressure water, or mechanical methods until a sound substrate is reached. Before application, the surface should be saturated with water, but no free water should remain on it.
- Mixture Preparation: A 25 kg bag of Kalekim Tamirart S40 should be mixed with 4.0-4.5 liters of clean water using a low-speed mixer for approximately 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous and lump-free consistency is achieved. After mixing, let it rest for 2-3 minutes and then mix briefly again to prepare the mortar for use.
- Application: The prepared mortar is applied to the surface using a steel trowel or spatula. A maximum thickness of 40 mm can be applied in a single layer. For thicker applications, work in layers and allow each layer to harden. Surface finishing can be done with a trowel to the desired smoothness.
- Curing: To prevent rapid water loss and ensure optimum strength development after application, the surface should be kept moist or curing agents should be used. Special care should be taken with curing, especially in windy or sunny weather.
- Tool Cleaning: All tools used during application should be cleaned with plenty of water before the mortar dries.
- Since the product is cement-based, personal protective equipment such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses should be worn during application.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, wash with plenty of water and consult a doctor if necessary.
- The application environment should be well-ventilated.
- Adhere to the specified mixing ratios and application temperatures. Do not apply to frozen, frost-risk, or excessively hot surfaces.
- No other materials (cement, sand, etc.) should be mixed with the product.
- Opened packages should be consumed shortly.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight, rain, or freezing cold.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in its original packaging, in a dry and cool place, for its shelf life.
- The performance of products that have expired or been improperly stored is not guaranteed.
