1. Surface Preparation
- Joint gaps must be free from dust, dirt, oil, paint residues, and any substances that prevent adhesion.
- Ensure that the tile adhesive has hardened sufficiently (usually after 24-48 hours).
- Joint gaps should be dry and clean; excessively absorbent surfaces should be lightly moistened.
2. Mortar Preparation
- Add 5.0 - 5.5 liters of clean water to 20 kg of Kalekim Fugaflex Super Grout powder.
- Mix with a low-speed mixer for approximately 3-5 minutes until a lump-free consistency is achieved.
- After resting for 5 minutes, mix again briefly. The mortar is ready for use.
- The pot life is approximately 45-60 minutes; be careful not to exceed this time.
3. Grouting Application
- Fill the prepared mortar thoroughly into the joint gaps using a rubber float or spatula with diagonal movements.
- Ensure the joint gaps are completely filled, trying not to leave excessive mortar on the surface.
