Twin Drain System and Accessories – Installation Instructions
In terrace, roof, and balcony applications, water that reaches the waterproofing layer and continues to flow toward the drainage pipe can cause black stains on the lower layers if it does not evaporate. To prevent such formations, a twin drain system should be used.
The intermediate connection piece that connects to the lower drain component is made of polypropylene and fits perfectly with the lower drain part. Thanks to the 0.6 mm gaps on the intermediate piece, a second drainage line is formed and leaked water is directed to the drainage pipes.
If the installation area has a risk of odor, such as a bathroom, it is recommended to use the odor-preventing connection piece.
