SİM Self Aluminum Foil Coated Tape – Packaging, Storage, and Application

Packaging:

• Products are manufactured in rolls of 10 m length, with widths of 10, 15, 20, 30, and 60 cm.

• 10 cm: 6 rolls per box

• 15 cm: 4 rolls per box

• 20 cm: 3 rolls per box

• 30 cm: 2 rolls per box

• 60 cm: 1 roll per box

• Each box covers an area of 6 m²

• Aluminum foil color options: Natural (natural aluminum), Red, Baroque Red, and Green

Storage:

• Bituminous membranes should be stored vertically in closed and dry areas

• Pallets should be placed in a single layer and must not be stacked on top of each other

• Products should be protected from ultraviolet rays and sudden temperature changes

Application:

• Bituminous waterproofing applications should be carried out at temperatures of +5°C and above, on dry surfaces and in rain-free conditions

• The tape becomes ready for adhesion after the polyethylene film on one side is removed

• Application surfaces must be smooth, even, and free from dirt and dust

• On concrete surfaces, SİM Primer should be applied first and allowed to dry before applying the tape
