ISONEM Universal Primer – Application Instructions

Surface Preparation:

Before application, any blistered, loose, or unsound areas on the surface should be scraped off, and oil, grease, and dirt must be thoroughly cleaned. If there is ongoing salt efflorescence on the surface, it must be resolved before applying the primer. This step is critical to ensure maximum adhesion of the primer and to enhance the durability of the topcoat.

Application Method:

ISONEM Universal Primer should be stirred thoroughly before use until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. The product is diluted with water at a ratio of 1:7 by volume and applied to the surface using a brush, roller, or spray. It is applied in a single coat.

Drying Time and Topcoat Application:

After applying the primer, a minimum drying time of 4 hours should be allowed before applying the topcoat paint or waterproofing product. The main application should be carried out within 4–6 hours after priming.

This method ensures that the surface is properly prepared, while maximizing the durability and adhesion performance of the topcoat.

Application Instructions:

• Apply a single coat using a brush, roller, or spray.

• Allow a minimum drying time of 4 hours before applying the topcoat paint or waterproofing product. The main application should be completed within 4–6 hours.
