APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS – ISONEM SS SOIL HARDENER

Preparation for Use:
ISONEM SS SOIL HARDENER is a ready-to-use concentrate. The surface to be treated must be completely dry and free from water. After application, the treated area should be protected from rain and water contact for at least 72 hours. The ambient temperature should be at least +4°C.

Soil Preparation:
The area to be treated should be leveled to the desired depth (approximately 150–250 mm) using excavation machinery. Equipment such as graders, rototillers, or disc harrows can be used to break down large and coarse materials during this process.

Soil Moistening:
According to the type of soil, the required amount of water is determined through preliminary testing and mixed with ISONEM SS in a tank to prepare the solution. The prepared solution is applied evenly to the soil using a spraying method. Spraying continues until the soil is sufficiently moistened.

Soil Mixing:
The moistened soil, treated with the solution, must be thoroughly mixed to achieve the desired depth.

Soil Compaction:
The treated soil is compacted using a roller or suitable compaction equipment. Once compaction is complete, the area can be opened to traffic within 7 days. During this period, heavy loads should not be applied. Depending on weather conditions, this time may be shortened or extended.

CONSUMPTION:
Consumption may vary depending on the application area and soil type. The correct quantity and dilution ratio should be determined through preliminary testing before application.

Recommended Consumption Rates:

• For areas with vehicular traffic on dirt roads: 1 L ISONEM SS + 1 L water

• For pedestrian traffic areas: 1 L ISONEM SS + 1 L water

• For dust prevention only: 1 L ISONEM SS + 1 L water

• For areas with heavy load traffic, such as airports and construction sites: 1 L ISONEM SS + 1 L water

COLOR:
Milk white; becomes transparent after curing.

PACKAGING:
Available in 5 L, 10 L, and 20 L PE drums.

SHELF LIFE:
Can be used for up to 24 months from the production date when stored in original, unopened, and undamaged packaging.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Store in a dry and cool place with the container lids tightly closed.
