Isonem Shine Floor – Tile and Floor Coating
Two-component polyurethane floor coating; durable, elastic, and…
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Isonem Shine Floor is a two-component, polyurethane-based, self-leveling floor coating containing solvents. After curing, it forms an elastic, durable, and protective layer. It is resistant to UV rays and outdoor weather conditions, and does not yellow, fade, or peel over time. It withstands both pedestrian and vehicular traffic and offers excellent resistance to wear and various chemicals. Provides excellent adhesion on concrete, metal, or existing floor surfaces and ensures long-lasting performance.
FEATURES:
-
Creates a glossy and hard-elastic surface, providing an aesthetic appearance.
-
Offers high chemical and mechanical resistance, ensuring long durability.
-
Allows the formation of a non-slip surface for safe use.
-
Resistant to liquids; water and other substances do not penetrate the surface.
-
Easy to apply using brush, roller, or spray.
-
Practical to clean, reducing maintenance costs.
-
Economical usage with efficient consumption between coats.

APPLICATION AREAS
İsonem Shine Floor provides a smooth and durable coating for industrial floors such as production facilities, warehouses, and workshops. It can be safely used on pool edges, tourist facilities, coastal areas, walkways, squares, sidewalks, parks, and gardens. It also delivers excellent performance in wet work areas (food and beverage industry, etc.), parking lot pavements, loading ramps, as well as on terraces, balconies, and other wet areas covered with ceramic, marble, or mosaic.
Surface Quality: The concrete surface must be clean, sound, with a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm² and a pull-off tensile strength of at least 1.5 N/mm². The surface should be free from contaminants such as dirt, oil, old coatings, or curing compounds. In case of doubt, it is recommended to perform a small trial application before full-scale work.
Surface Preparation: Concrete surfaces should be made open-pored by cleaning the cement slurry with abrasive equipment. Weak concrete must be removed, holes fully opened, and surface repairs carried out using ISONEM M 03 Repair Mortar. Concrete or screed surfaces must be smooth and leveled. High spots should be abraded or sanded, and all loose particles removed using a brush or vacuum.
Primer Application: Depending on the surface, apply ISONEM EP PRIMER or ISONEM ANTI RUST PRIMER. For concrete, marble, granite, tiles, ceramics, and similar surfaces, use ISONEM EP PRIMER at 0.250–0.400 kg/m². For sheet/metal surfaces, use ISONEM ANTI RUST PRIMER at 0.250–0.350 kg/m².
Application Conditions: Ambient temperature should be between +10°C and +30°C, surface moisture ≤ 4%, and relative humidity ≤ 70%. To prevent condensation, the surface and uncured coating must be at least 3°C above the dew point.
Mixing: First, mechanically mix Component A. Then add Component B and mix for 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. Use an electric mixer (300–400 rpm) or a suitable mechanical mixing tool.
Application: Apply the coating with a brush, roller, or spray gun to achieve the desired thickness.
