PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ISONEM M 36 is a ready-to-use, instant water-freezing shock mortar that offers practical application. When it comes into contact with water, it sets within approximately 40 seconds, effectively stopping active water flows. It is safely used in areas with active water leaks and situations where surface water needs to be quickly halted.
By stopping water flow, ISONEM M 36 provides a solid and secure base for subsequent waterproofing and insulation systems. Its high expansion property allows it to fill voids without shrinkage, providing a long-lasting solution. Its special formula, free from soda or chlorine, does not damage reinforcement or metal components. With strong adhesion, it ensures excellent bonding to the surface.

Application Method:
ISONEM M 36 is a shock-setting material applied in powder form. Protective rubber gloves must be worn during application. Take an adequate amount of the product into the palm of your hand and press it firmly in a single motion onto the point of active water leakage. Repeat this process until the material hardens and the water flow is completely stopped.
Once the water flow is halted, remove any excess material on the surface using a dry brush. To ensure durable and long-lasting waterproofing, apply ISONEM M 35 over the treated surface in three coats.
In cases where the product needs to be applied as a trowelable mortar, mix ISONEM M 36 with clean water at a ratio of 2:5 (40%) to achieve a putty-like consistency. The prepared mixture should be malleable and free from crumbling. During the reaction, the mortar will begin to heat up; at this stage, shape the mixture into a plug and press it firmly onto the point of water ingress in a single motion. Hold it in place until full setting is achieved.
After trowel application, as with the dry method, apply ISONEM M 35 in three coats over the treated surface to complete the waterproofing and ensure maximum durability.

Shelf Life:
