Isonem GelConcrete - Cement-based Self-Leveling Colored GelConcrete
Colored, UV resistant, crack-free, self-leveling floor coating
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ISONEM GELCONCRETE is a polymer-modified, cement-based, colored surface coating product that can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 1 to 10 mm. It provides high resistance against cracking and shrinkage. By self-leveling, it creates a smooth surface on the applied area and ensures strong adhesion with excellent bonding ability. Thanks to its UV-resistant structure, it offers long-lasting use in outdoor environments. Available in both colored or concrete-like finishes, it allows for the creation of decorative and aesthetic surfaces.

AREAS OF USE - ISONEM GELCONCRETE
-
Suitable for floors with high and medium pedestrian traffic.
-
Provides a self-leveling solution for covering damaged surfaces with a thickness of 1–10 mm.
-
Can be safely applied on concrete, ceramic, marble, and both old and new surface floors.
Surface Preparation
The surface to be applied must be solid, load-bearing, and clean. Dust, oil, grease, rust, and paraffin residues should be removed, and loose particles should be eliminated. Surface imperfections must be repaired, and for large areas, leveling should be done using a grid to define the elevation differences.
To increase the surface's adhesion and minimize potential air bubbles, the surface should be primed with ISONEM D 10 LATEX. The latex is applied to the surface with a brush at a coverage rate of 200 mL/m², without dilution. The application should be carried out within 30–40 minutes, once the surface becomes slightly tacky.
Finally, to prevent stains, dirt, oil, and water absorption, the protective layer of ISONEM LIQUID GLASS should be applied. This layer is applied in two coats using a brush, roller (synthetic epoxy), or suitable sprayer, at a consumption rate of 150–200 g/m².
Mixing Preparation
For 20 kg of ISONEM GELCONCRETE, add 4 liters of clean water to a suitable mixing container. Slowly add the material and mix with a low-speed mixer for 3–4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. Then let it rest for 2 minutes, and after a short mixing (30 seconds), it will be ready for use.
Mixing Ratio:
-
20 kg bag → 4 liters of water
Application Method
The prepared mortar will self-level on the surface. The thickness of the material is adjusted with a notched trowel. No water should be added during application, and any air trapped on the surface should be removed with a “Porcupine Roller.” Application should not be done in areas where there are sudden temperature changes, direct sunlight, or wind exposure.
