APPLICATION AREAS

ISONEM Floor 2K can be safely used as a durable floor and wall coating in industrial and commercial areas. Its application areas include:

• Industrial facilities, factories, refineries

• Pharmaceutical and food production areas

• Hospitals, schools, and warehouses

• Acid production plants, chemical factories, and laboratories

• Automotive industry areas and water treatment facilities

• Water tanks

Provides long-lasting and durable coating on both concrete and metal floors and walls.

Concrete Surface Preparation:

Concrete surfaces to be coated must be completely free of all oil, dirt, dust, and other surface residues, and must be dry. For newly poured concrete, a curing period of 21 days should be observed before application. The concrete surface should be primed with ISONEM EP PRIMER (epoxy-based primer) at a consumption rate of 0.250 – 0.400 kg/m².

Steel and Metal Surface Preparation:

Metal surfaces must be cleaned of all oil, dust, rust, and residues that could prevent adhesion between the paint and the substrate. If there is old epoxy paint on the surface and it cannot be removed, it should be sanded to create a rough texture and cleaned with a solvent. Metal surfaces should then be primed with ISONEM ANTI RUST PRIMER (anti-corrosive primer) at a consumption rate of 0.250 – 0.350 kg/m².

Mixing Instructions:

First, open the container of Component A (solvent-free epoxy paint) and stir for 1–2 minutes. Then add Component B (hardener) and mix thoroughly for 2–3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. The specified mixing ratio must be strictly followed.

Application Method:

The prepared mixture should be applied to the primed surface using a brush, roller, or suitable spray equipment. FLOOR 2K should be applied within 6–24 hours before the primer fully cures. The second coat should be applied immediately after the first coat dries, always in the same direction. On vertical surfaces, it is recommended to apply at least 3 thin layers.

Consumption:
For two-coat applications, an average of 1 kg/m² is used. Consumption may vary depending on the surface and coating thickness.

Coverage Area:

• 2.5 kg set: Minimum 2.5 m²

• 5 kg set: Minimum 5 m²

Color:
The product is available in RAL color options.

Packaging:

• 2.5 kg set: Component A 2 kg, Component B 0.5 kg (metal tin)

• 5 kg set: Component A 4 kg, Component B 1 kg (metal tin)

Shelf Life:
In original, unopened, and undamaged packaging, the product is usable for 24 months from the production date.

Storage Conditions:
Store in a dry, cool place, away from heat and fire sources. Always ensure the container lids are tightly closed.
