Surface Preparation

Before application, all loose and free particles on the surface must be removed. Oil, dirt, and similar residues on the surface should be completely cleaned using sandblasting, mechanical scraping, or other appropriate methods. During application, ensure that the substrate temperature is at least +3 °C above the dew point.

Mixing Preparation

ISONEM EP PRIMER is supplied as ready-to-use sets according to the specified mixing ratios. Considering the pot life, only the amount that can be applied should be mixed. Before starting, ensure that the material temperature is between 15–25 °C.

Component A should be mixed with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved without entraining air. Then, pour the entire Component B into Component A, ensuring no material remains in the container. Continue mixing for at least 4 minutes until a completely homogeneous mixture is obtained.

The prepared mixture should be used within 30–40 minutes. Avoid high-speed or prolonged mixing of Components A and B, as this will reduce the pot life.

Application Method

ISONEM EP PRIMER should be applied with a brush or roller to achieve the desired thickness. Depending on environmental conditions, when the coating reaches the appropriate consistency, a spiked roller can be used if necessary to remove any air bubbles from the surface.
