İsonem DF 9 – Acrylic-Based Wet Area Waterproofing
Provides elastic, waterproof, durable, crack-bridging,…
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ISONEM DF 9 is a solvent-free, single-component acrylic polymer waterproofing material based on elastomeric resin. Once applied and dried, it forms a seamless, waterproof, and elastic coating. Its high mechanical strength allows it to bridge cracks and provides durable protection.
After the coating is complete, tiles, ceramics, or similar coverings can be safely installed using a suitable adhesive. With its easy application and long-lasting elasticity, ISONEM DF 9 is ideal for interior wet area waterproofing.

Surface Preparation
The surfaces to be treated must be clean, dry, and smooth. Any necessary repairs and waterproofing preparations should be completed beforehand.
It is recommended to reinforce wall-to-floor junctions with a 45 g/m² reinforcement mesh. Surfaces must be free of dust, dirt, or layers that reduce adhesion.
If necessary, the substrate should be primed with ISONEM Universal Primer. The primer should be diluted at a 1:7 ratio with water (1 part primer : 7 parts water) and applied with a brush or roller at a rate of 100–200 g/m². Allow the primed surface to dry for at least 4 hours before proceeding.
Application Method
ISONEM DF 9 is ready to use but should be thoroughly mixed before application. Apply the product undiluted in 2 coats, waiting 4 hours between coats, using a brush or roller.
After application, the surface should be protected from water for 24 hours. Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C, or on wet or frozen surfaces.
