İsonem D10 Latex – Adhesion Enhancer

Provides strong adhesion with its elastic and durable…

When should you receive your offer?

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ISONEM D10 LATEX
is a water-based, acrylic emulsion, single-component liquid used as an additive to mortar or applied directly on surfaces in concrete, plaster, screed, and cement-based applications to increase elasticity and adhesion. It forms a strong adhesive layer on the applied surface, ensuring excellent bonding between old and new materials. This improves the adhesion of mortars and prevents problems such as lifting and blistering.

ISONEM D10 LATEX
prevents cold joints in concrete, plaster, and screed applications and can be safely used on both wet and dry surfaces. When applied as a primer on highly absorbent surfaces, it increases mechanical strength and improves the adhesion of waterproofing materials. It plasticizes the mortars it is used with, making application easier, increases water retention to prevent rapid drying and shrinkage cracks, and enhances wear resistance. It also reduces dusting in screed applications, improves freeze-thaw resistance, and limits the penetration of oils and solvents. With its high chemical resistance, this product provides durable and reliable solutions.

AREAS OF USE

  • Can be safely used in all types of cement mortars to increase adhesion and bonding strength.

  • Strengthens surface durability in plasters and screeds, preventing crack formation.

  • When added to tile and ceramic adhesives, it ensures better adhesion of materials to the surface.

  • Meets adhesion requirements in repair mortars and cold joints, preventing lifting and blistering.

  • Ensures perfect bonding between old and new materials in concrete repairs.

  • In pre-spray plaster applications, it increases the mechanical strength of the surface.

  • When used as a primer before coating waterproofing applications, it improves adhesion and durability of the waterproofing materials.

Surface Preparation

The surfaces to be treated should be dry or slightly damp. Moistening should continue until the surface is fully saturated. All surfaces must be clean, smooth, and free of loose particles. Layers that reduce adhesion, such as oil, dirt, old paint residues, cement slurry, rust, or efflorescence, must be completely removed before application.

Usage for Adhesion

ISONEM D10 LATEX
should be applied to the surface undiluted at approximately 200 g/m² using a brush. After application, mortar or adhesive must be applied within 30–40 minutes while the material is still wet. This ensures strong bonding of the materials to the surface.

Usage as a Concrete or Mortar Additive

  • In concrete or mortar production, use 1 kg of ISONEM D10 LATEX per 1 m³ of material, mixed with the water of the mortar.

  • For ISONEM M03 elastic mortar, add approximately 1 kg of ISONEM D10 LATEX to a 20 kg bucket, then add about 3 liters of water and mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

This improves the mortar’s adhesion, elasticity, and water retention, making application easier.
