Isonem BE 99 - Elastic, Water-Resistant Exterior Paint
Elastic, waterproof, UV-resistant, decorative exterior paint
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ISONEM BE 99 is an exterior paint that forms a seamless, elastic, and waterproof layer upon drying on the applied surface. It is environmentally friendly with its water-based polymer composition and solvent-free structure. Thanks to its 300% elasticity, it is unaffected by cracks on the building surface and provides long-lasting protection. It shows high resistance to UV rays and external weather conditions. Despite being waterproof, it allows the building to breathe with its water vapor permeability, preventing moisture and dampness in indoor environments. Its special formula makes it dirt-repellent and helps maintain its original appearance for many years. Additionally, it reduces the effects of carbon dioxide gas, protecting the reinforcement in concrete and shielding buildings from rain, dirt, and other external factors.

Surface Preparation
Before application, the surfaces must be clean, dry, or slightly damp, and free from oil, dirt, mud, and loose particles. Application should not be done on surfaces with efflorescence (salt deposits) on the negative side.
Cracks, holes, or imperfections should be repaired with ISONEM M 03 elastic mortar. If there are expansion joints on the surface, they should be filled with ISONEM A4 elastic sealant.
For priming, an appropriate primer should be selected based on the surface type:
-
For general surfaces: ISONEM UNIVERSAL PRIMER should be diluted with water at a 1:7 ratio and applied at a consumption rate of 100–200 g/m². The drying time is 4–6 hours.
-
For sheet/metal surfaces: ISONEM ANTI RUST PRIMER (Anti-corrosive Primer) should be applied at a consumption rate of 0.250–0.350 kg/m².
Application Method
ISONEM BE 99 is a ready-to-use product. After opening the packaging, it is recommended to mix it to achieve a homogeneous consistency.
Application can be done using a brush, roller, or suitable sprayer. After applying the primer, the product should be applied in two coats, with a 4-hour waiting time between coats. This method creates a seamless, elastic, and long-lasting coating on the surface.
CONSUMPTION
Approximately 0.8 – 1.0 kg/m² for two coats.
