BoardeX Alkali-Resistant Render Mesh is a fiberglass reinforcement mesh developed to enhance the mechanical strength of cement-based renders applied over exterior sheathing systems and to minimize the risk of surface cracking. With its 160 g/m² weight and engineered structure, it ensures uniform stress distribution within the render layer and maintains long-term system performance.


Exterior façades are exposed to temperature fluctuations, moisture movement, wind loads, and structural vibrations. These factors can create stress within the render layer over time. BoardeX Render Mesh absorbs and distributes these stresses, preventing crack formation and ensuring surface integrity.

Application Guidelines

  1. Apply the first layer of render onto the surface.

  2. Place the mesh onto the fresh render from top to bottom.

  3. Embed the mesh fully into the render using a trowel.

  4. Position the mesh close to the outer surface layer.

  5. Provide a minimum 10 cm overlap at joints.

  6. After curing, apply the second render coat to complete the system.
