Application Instructions
1. Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and adhesion-reducing substances. Dry and hot surfaces must be pre-wetted before application.
2. Installation of Screed Guides
Screed guides (beacons) should be fixed onto the surface at approximately 150–200 cm intervals.
3. Mixing and Spraying
ALÇITEK TORO is mixed with the recommended water ratio using a plastering machine and sprayed between the screed guides.
4. Leveling
After spraying, the surface is leveled using a straightedge. A second leveling process is carried out after removing the screed guides.
5. Finishing
Depending on ambient temperature, after 30–60 minutes the surface is lightly sprayed with water and floated with a rubber float. Approximately 10 minutes later, the surface is polished with a steel trowel.
⚠ Wind and high temperatures may significantly accelerate setting times. Application timing should be adjusted accordingly.
